Once upon a time, Percy Jackson was the golden boy of Camp Half-Blood.
Then his charming half-brother, Nathan Burns, decided to spice things up by turning literally everyone against him, including Annabeth, who believed he helped Kronos and Gaia. (Spoiler: he didn't.) What followed? Torture. Betrayal. A one-way ticket out of camp with a side of emotional damage.
Most people would've cried.
Percy trained. For two freaking years.
Then he broke into Athena's off-limits, ultra-magical, please-don't-touch-or-you 'll-die library and stole a book about how to fling himself off Earth. Now he travels planet to planet, taking down evil monarchs and emperors like some interstellar John Wick with a magic sword and a grudge.
The people call him Hunter.
The tyrants call him deadly.
And Olympus? Yeah, they still think he's a traitor. Idiots.
But things are about to get worse. Because now Tartarus is back-like "apocalyptic level boss fight" back-and guess who shows up with an offer?
Chaos.
That's right. The embodiment of the freaking universe just slid into Hunter's DMs with a job offer:

Revenge.
Percy Jackson was finally able to lay low and have a peaceful life for once. The war with Gaea and the Giants was over, and Percy was excited to have the chance to spend time with his beautiful girlfriend. Then everything comes crashing down. A new kid comes stumbling into Camp-Half-Blood, and the moment he lays eyes on the legendary son of Poseidon, he hated him. It didn't help that the new kid was claimed by Poseidon, making him Percy's half-brother. Rumours and lies started to circle Camp-Half-Blood. Lies about how Percy was a traitor to the Gods, that he was spying for the titans the entire time. It finally came to the point where Percy was driven out of camp. But he had to have some sort of parting words to the people who had driven him out of camp, right? Of course. Perseus Jackson's final words. "I'll be back.
