"Beyond the Horizon" follows the deeply moving journey of Edward Wilkes, an 18-year-old autistic boy from Newcastle upon Tyne, during the height of World War II. Gifted with a brilliant mind and a quiet determination, Edward struggles to fit into a world that doesn't fully understand him. While serving with the local Home Guard, he dreams of escaping the noise and judgment of everyday life by joining the Royal Navy-not to fight, but to see the vast world beyond the grey skies of northern England.

Set against the backdrop of wartime Britain, Edward's path is filled with challenges-prejudice, fear, and personal doubt-but also courage, kindness, and hope. As bombs fall and nations clash, Edward's internal world proves just as fierce as the one outside, and his journey to serve at sea becomes a powerful act of self-discovery.

Author's Note
This story is inspired by the real-life legacy of my great-granddad, whose wartime medals I recently discovered. His service in the Royal Navy and the Home Guard during World War II sparked the heart of this novel. While Edward Wilkes is a fictional character, his struggles and dreams are deeply personal-and rooted in the history, resilience, and quiet bravery of a generation that gave everything for a world they believed in.

The Rosewood Mirage was built as a symbol of lavish lifestyles and the achievements of mankind. A hotel of this altitude could never be just a simple destination. You didn't even want to go to the Rosewood Mirage. Not at all. Especially not for your stupid sister's stupid engagement party to her stupid fiance. Of course it would end in disaster. After an avalanche makes leaving the hotel impossible and a body is discovered, you're stuck with hundreds of people living in fear, waiting for either rescue teams or the murderer. Its okay, though. Because you met Aldric, the nice trans guy living in the boiler rooms. He became the one person you could genuinely trust in the whole hotel. With your mother constantly breathing down your neck, your father crumbling at any pressure, your psychopathic sister demanding the perfect wedding, and your ex best friend lusting for the last person you'd ever guess, you just didn't know if you'd make it out or the Rosewood Mirage alive. ***** Inspired by The Sanatorium by Sarah Pearse. Another story by Ginger. This love interest is transgender, so any homophobic comments will be automatically deleted. Do not forget that your author is transgender. Side note, the reader in this story deals with sensory issues, similar to ones that I deal with myself. You'll notice its a common theme in the story. I portrayed living with sensory issues as best I could. Do not forget that I am human. Do not forget that I make mistakes. Because a story that I wrote does not line up with you does not mean that I'm purposefully excluding certain readers because of race, gender, and sexuality. Cover art by me. Have a nice day!

The Infinite Horizon is an epic cosmic saga that follows Soolin-a once-troubled soul burdened by modern despair and haunted by memories of a warrior's past-as he embarks on an extraordinary journey to redefine destiny. Born an orphan with both mischief and innate wisdom, Soolin's life transforms under the guidance of ancient mentors. As he masters the secret art of cultivation, he battles spectral foes and confronts the oppressive forces of predetermination. His inner spark grows into a brilliant force, enabling him to shatter the chains of fate and reveal the power of free will. Evolving from a solitary, grief-stricken youth into the transcendent Eternal Architect, Soolin forms the Ascendant Order and forges the Celestial Covenant of Liberation-a binding promise uniting awakened souls across realms. As he ventures beyond the mortal coil to orchestrate the Empyreal Convergence, the narrative blurs the lines between myth, science, and spirituality. Ultimately, Soolin creates and guides new universes, inspiring an everlasting renaissance of creativity and self-determination. The novel is a sweeping meditation on the triumph of the indomitable human spirit and the limitless potential of free will, inviting readers to envision a destiny that is theirs to shape.
