The irony of having a last name like Hart does nothing for Maple when there's not a single person in the world who loves her. The only person she has ever been able to depend on is herself, and that's how she thinks life will always be. All she's ever known is bouncing around from one foster home to the other. No one ever cared enough to let her stay for more than a couple months. And that's fine for Maple. After all, the only person she'll ever need is herself, right? Jake Johnson has been living a normal, ordinary life that he's quickly starting to get tired of until one day he meets an intriguing girl in the park. She turns his life upside down as she moves around and around the monopoly map that she calls her life. Told in just the texts sent between the two teens, Monopoly Map is a heartfelt book about a broken girl and the boy who is trying to fix her.

Gilbert Write was taken away from his family with his two siblings when he was three-years-old, and they were put in the foster care system. Growing up, he didn't belong anywhere, or to anyone. But when he meets Hazel Murray, a girl who's story is deeper than anyone could have imagined, his life is changed forever. Hazel realizes, and tries to show Gilbert, that everyone has a story, and everyone has a purpose, no matter who they are. "Your words mean nothing if you don't prove them. And I've proven my love for you." - Hazel ~Inspired by true events~ https://youtu.be/ulfWc4cEspo (Check out this video at 7:40. My favorite Youtubers made a shout out to this book!)
