After the Battle of Geonosis, Separatist leaders gather on a distant world.
ARC Captain Alpha-17, one of the Republic's deadliest clones, is sent with his squad to investigate the meeting and strike before the war can spread any further. He expects Separatists, droids, and a clean military operation. He does not expect a strange Jedi with an orange lightsaber, a colder mind than most Jedi, and a sharper tongue than his own.
Their first meeting begins with blaster fire and a lightsaber clash―and ends with a question neither of them dares answer.
