Among Nintendo's many underdogs, Metroid always sticks out as the one that refuses to fade. Because despite not getting nearly as much attention as say Zelda or Mario, it remains A franchise Nintendo puts time and money into.
I'm thankful they have, because this franchise is awesome! From its eerie space ascetic, to its genre defining gameplay, Metroid remains a flagship title for a reason.
However I also noticed just how much potential it had for fun storytelling and enjoyable characters.
So much so that I'm making a pitch for a spinoff Metroid comic, that Nintendo will probably never want to make.
Feel free to use some of my ideas if they tickle your fancy.

Metroid: Samus Begins
This story is my idea of what a metroid movie would be like. The story is largely a retelling of Metroid Zero mission but with some of the backstory from the manga and Other m aswell. "Space pirates have stolen valuable cargo from the Galactic Federation. In retaliation the Galactic Federation have hired a bounty hunter to retrieve what was stolen. One Small Mistake
This story is based in between Transformers Prime {This story is getting rewritten so ignore any typo or misspelling in here.} Everything in the world is at peace. No unicron, no Predicons, no Megatron. For the time being but that's not to say he's not working on doing something soon.
