lyra santos regrets asking her next door neighbor to join her little grungy garage band. there are many reasons why. number one, the hatred between the two of them has always been mutual. two, he is her ex boyfriend, and three, they are not over each other.

in freshman year of highschool, lyra's idea to form a band came to mind. she has always loved music. it was her passion, her literal reason to live. she had asked her best friend gracie to be her bassist and her close friend connor to be the drummer. but, she needed a guitarist. lyra could play the guitar well, but she was the lead singer. so, her last resort was matt.

arguing and shouting always occurred during practices ever since matt joined the band years ago. it is like lyra and matt will never grow out of it. they are seniors now, and they still disagree with every little thing.

at this point, lyra is tired of matt. she wishes she could kick him out of the band, but for some reason, something is holding her back from doing so. a feeling.
