Naoto Shirogane grew up under pressure.
His father, Retsu, was a low-class Pro Hero who thought he deserved more. More fame, more recognition, a legacy worth broadcasting.

When Naoto showed no sign of a Quirk, Retsu snapped. He called it training. Discipline. Tough love.

But it was manipulation. Obsession. Abuse, dressed up as preparation for a future that never felt like his.

Then, at thirteen, Naoto's Quirk awakened. Quickslot, unstable, overwhelming.
One surge of power, and his mother was left injured in the fallout.

Retsu didn't hesitate.

He saw no frightened child.
He saw a monster.

That same night, Naoto was thrown out.
Declared dead. Blacklisted.
Erased like a glitch in his father's perfect narrative.

He disappeared into Naruhata, and part of his hair whitened.
But he got back up - with help from Koichi Haimawari, Kazuho Haneyama and the others
He rebuilt himself through silence and discipline.

Quickslot lets him summon objects from video game inventories, powerful, versatile, dangerous if left unchecked.

Eraser Head had recommended him to U.A
Witness to his actions and rebuilt mindset.
He saw the boy, and a brilliant tactician who knew how to optimize Quirks in the blink of an eye.
And years later, he finally accepted.

Now he belongs to the halls of the hero academy, silently.
He doesn't talk much.
He doesn't aim for attention.

But his white-streaked hair, his whole "edgy ghost-boy vibe", and his odd way of being sweet and caring, speak louder than he ever could.

Somehow, he made friends.
Not by trying.
Just by being there.

He's not trying to be a hero.
He's trying to make sure he never becomes the villain his father made everyone, Naoto included, believe he was.

He lost his arm to Reiji Kirisaki, but later woke to find it replaced: a mysterious figure had given him a Zonai arm, a strange gift that raises more questions than answers. At the same time, buried truths about his family come to light. The Shirogane bloodline, supposetively noble was in fact rotted to the core, secretly closely tied to All For One, serving him in the shadows. After All Might's victory, Naoto's father, Retsu, abusive, violent, rotted to the core, was exposed and forced into hiding. Once Naoto was thought dead, but Retsu's downfall revealed the truth, he is alive, and now marked. At the hospital, two revelations change everything: his mother, Aashiko, returns after years away, and with her, a sister he never knew, Tsukiko, 3 years old. Innocent, untouched by Retsu's violence, she still believes her father was good. To her, Naoto is just the brother who broke her family apart. Living with them briefly, Naoto finds a fragile home. Aashiko accepts him; Tsukiko only tolerates him. But as Aizawa said, with villains aware of who he is, he has to leave, for their safety, heading to Heights Alliance, U.A.'s new dormitory system, where a new chapter begins. Before he even arrives, something unexpected happens: reaching out to stop an accident, his left hand opens a portal. A new ability, separate from Quickslot, has awakened. (Y/N) Yagi was never given a clean slate. As the nephew of the world's greatest hero, All Might, expectations were carved into his name before he ever had a chance to speak it. Born and raised in the United States, (Y/N) wanted nothing more than to live life on his own terms-far from the shadows of legacy and fame. But fate had other plans. His father, Haruto Yagi-All Might's estranged younger brother-had been quietly preparing for a return to Japan. When Haruto confided in his famous sibling, All Might saw a second chance: not just to reconnect with family, but to shape the future of his powerful yet directionless nephew. Strings were pulled. Decisions were made. And (Y/N)'s life was rewritten without his consent. Now forcibly enrolled at U.A. High, surrounded by peers who view him as nothing more than All Might's nephew, (Y/N) must fight to prove he's more than a name. With pressure mounting and resentment burning, he's determined to earn respect-not through inheritance, but through strength, sweat, and a legacy of his own making.
