At just 24 years old, it seems like Alina Rae has it all -- fame, beauty, talent, and record-breaking success that has cemented her as a household name. She's one of the biggest pop-stars in the world, but secretly, she's unraveling. From her boyfriend and friend group to her management and the media, all of the people in her life seem to have a hidden agenda, and everyone wants her to be someone she's not.

As if her life couldn't get more complicated, in the middle of her tour, a dangerous stalker begins tailing her across the country, leaving behind threatening letters and intimate photographs for her to find.

Due to the stalker, her team hires Rory Callahan -- ex-military, eagle-eyed, and impossible to shake. Rory's assigned to be Alina's full-time bodyguard and shadow her everywhere she goes, no matter where that may be. She sees him as just another cage. He thinks she's the same as any other obnoxious celebrity client.

But the longer Rory shadows her world, the more cracks he finds in her perfect mask. And the more time Alina spends with him, someone who, for the first time in years, wants nothing to do with her fame and success, the more she begins to question if the part she's been playing is worth it.
