Every year, on the first day of January, teens with magic in their blood get pulled from their normal lives and thrown into the Academy of January - a place that's as mysterious as it is dangerous. For four years, they'll be tested, pushed, and changed forever.

Cordellia Ravenshade is unlike anyone else there. Her white hair falls like a ghost's veil around her thin frame, and her eyes - one cold grey, one vibrant green - seem to see right through people. She's painfully skinny, carrying a secret she's desperate to hide, while everyone around her just notices how different she looks. No one really understands the storm inside her.

Elias Caelum is the opposite of flashy. With plain brown hair and eyes just as ordinary, he slips easily through crowds - the kind of guy you'd miss if you blinked. But beneath that quiet, normal face is a steady heart, and a fierce loyalty to his best friends: Jax Merrin, the loud, quick-witted prankster with messy dark hair and bright hazel eyes; and Soren Vail, the calm thinker with sharp blue eyes and sleek black hair, always observing more than he lets on.

But the Academy isn't all friendship and magic. Brandt Hale, with his sharp blond hair and icy blue eyes, rules through arrogance and cutting remarks aimed at anyone who doesn't fit his idea of perfect - especially Cordellia. Dax Calder, rugged with dark hair and stormy grey eyes, matches Brandt's sneers with a dangerou edge. And then there's Corin Blackwell, whose smooth black hair and sly green eyes make him the master of whispers and rumors, quietly tearing others down while wearing a charming smile.

Thrown together in this unforgiving world, Cordellia, Elias, and their circle will face trials that test more than their magical skill - friendships will be forged and broken, secrets will claw their way into the light, and the true cost of power will reveal itself.

Because at the Academy of January, nothing is as it seems, and every shadow hides a story.

Seraphina Evermoor and The Sins Of Magic by asiaapiata
23 parts Complete
As Seraphina Evermoor enters her sixth year at Hogwarts, everything she once believed about the magical world begins to unravel. The boundaries between light and dark magic blur more than ever before, challenging her sense of right and wrong. Whispers of a forbidden history-long buried by the magical elite-begin to surface, carried by shadows in the halls and secrets hidden in forgotten books. These revelations expose a chilling truth: magic, for all its wonder and power, is not as pure or noble as it seems. It has been twisted, corrupted, and weaponized-its darkest chapters erased from memory, its sins hidden beneath centuries of silence. With tensions rising inside and outside the castle walls, the wizarding world teeters on the edge of collapse. War brews in the distance, creeping ever closer. Friends become suspects, allies turn into enemies, and trust becomes a rare and fragile thing. As political alliances shift and ancient magical laws are challenged, Seraphina is thrust into a conflict far older and more dangerous than she ever imagined-one that could tear apart everything she holds dear. Haunted by visions, drawn toward forgotten spells, and confronted with choices that test her soul, Seraphina must face the ghosts of those who came before her-and the legacy they've left behind. The sins of magic are not just history; they are alive, pulsing beneath the surface, threatening to rise again. To stop what's coming, Seraphina will have to step beyond the rules, beyond the safety of what she's been taught. But with every decision comes a cost, and she must ask herself: how far is she willing to go to rewrite the fate that has been written in spell and blood? Because this time, the war isn't just about power-it's about truth, legacy, and the kind of witch she is destined to become.

As the new school year began at Hogwarts, the platform at King's Cross buzzed with energy. Students eagerly pushed their trolleys through the barrier to reach Platform 9 ¾, their excited chatter filling the air with anticipation of what the year ahead would hold. Onboard the Hogwarts Express, conversations swirled about the mysteries and adventures awaiting them at the castle. Among the eager students was Y/N, who, in her third year, would encounter Harry Potter-the boy everyone whispered about, the one they called the Chosen One. Little did Y/N know that her life was about to change. Danger, excitement, and heartbreak loomed as she was drawn into Harry's world-a world she once thought had no bearing on her own. Fate had other plans, entwining their destinies in ways neither could foresee. Amid the chaos, something gentle began to bloom between them, lingering in glances and laughter. And then, one evening, when words failed... "Y/N..." Harry whispered, his voice tinged with awe and something else-something hungry. His eyes flickered from hers to her lips, his face flushed but resolute. "Can I-can we do that again?" Y/N's cheeks burned, her hands resting lightly against his chest. "Someone might see us." "I don't care," Harry breathed, his voice trembling with honesty. "I don't care if the whole castle sees us. I've waited so long for this-for you..." -------- This story contains... - Disclaimer-> Smut or Lemon? "You have completely and utterly bewitched me, Lucia. Every time I look at you, I feel practically hypnotized." ☆✰⭐︎ Lucia Winters was raised in a pure-blood family with a storied history, expectations weigh heavily on her. Her father couldn't say no when she was invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry as a fifth year. She was deeply nervous about stepping into Hogwarts, not that she would ever admit it out loud. Lucia didn't grow up dreaming of the Great Hall, or getting sorted in front of hundreds of staring eyes. But with carefully composed nervousness there was excitement, she was burning with it. Lucia doesn't know yet what is to come, the power she can yield from her fingertips, a person who could guide her magic, or possibly use it. Sebastian Sallow was in his fifth year of Hogwarts. It started with exhaustion. The kind that settles into your bones - the kind that no amount of sleep or sugar quills can fix. Sebastian hid it with his grin, the sarcasm, the easy confidence. But by now, it was habit, not joy. Anne hadn't improved. Solomon barely spoke to him. So he did what he always did, he hid the bleeding parts. But underneath all of it was a hum, a low, constant desperation. He started digging into older magic, darker spells, things the books said he shouldn't touch. He touched them anyway. Sebastian was not going to sit back and watch his sister wither when he knew there were answers? No. There had to be answers, something, or someone, will show him. ☆✰⭐︎ A collision of two desperate souls, one already falling, the other just stepping into the dark. He needs her - not just because of her magic. She needs him - not just because he sees her clearly. Two people keeping secrets, both too clever for their own good, both drawn to eachother like gravity. Somewhere in their desperation, ambition, and obsession with saving Anne, it started to look like more than a friendship.

Zoe Adam was a master at pretending. At eighteen, she'd perfected the art of silence, smiling when expected, nodding at the right moments, keeping her secrets tucked away in her heart. It was safer that way. With three siblings, a chaotic dysfunctional Latin household, and parents who wore kindness like a mask, Zoe learned early that love could sting just as easily as it could soothe. Her mother could call her mi vida in one breath, then leave bruises seen and unseen in the next. Her father? He floated in and out, too wrapped in his own storms to notice the ones he left behind. None knew anything. her sisters who witnessed everything but didn't say anything, had their own shields. Not her brother, who tried to be the hero but never saw what needed saving. Zoe kept everything locked inside her feelings, her loneliness, her hunger, her ache, her need until even she forgot what it felt like to be full. Then came Hayden Reid. Nineteen, half-Italian and Puerto Rican, . He moved to London that summer, taking the flat right next door. To most, he was just the new guy with the sharp jaw, quiet hazel eyes, and that permanent don't-get-too-close look. But to Zoe, he was more than that. He was her brother's best friend. The boy who used to tease her when they were kids visiting Italy. The one who disappeared after his parents split and reappeared years later with more muscle, and a haunted look she couldn't stop staring at. Hayden had his own shadows. His past was littered with broken things promises, people, places he no longer called home. Coming back to London was supposed to be a reset, not a reunion. But fate had other plans for him. Now, he lives just a few steps from Zoe's window. Too close to ignore, too far to touch. And despite the years, the distance, and the damage they see each other in a way no one else does. Two hearts with locked doors. Two people who never meant to collide again.

Y/n is now a 14-year-old girl going to her fourth year at Hogwarts which was supposed to be just another chapter in the magical chaos of Y/n's life-filled with spells, laughter, and maybe even a little mischief with her friends. But everything changes when Harry's name flies out of the Goblet of Fire. Suddenly, Y/n is faced with the terrifying reality that one of her best friends is being forced to risk his life in a tournament no fourteen-year-old should ever enter. As if that weren't enough, Y/n is also struggling with a far more personal storm: her feelings for Hermione Granger. Feelings that have crept in like a slow-burning fire, growing stronger, more undeniable-and far more terrifying-by the day. Every moment she spends with Hermione feels like both a gift and a burden. She wants to reach out, to tell her how she feels, but every time she imagines showing Hermione any kind of affection, she's consumed by fear, anxiety, and a deep, aching shame she can't explain. Caught in a web of emotions she doesn't fully understand, Y/n finds herself lashing out at the very person she longs to be close to, the tension between them building with every misunderstanding and unspoken word. She's afraid of losing Hermione. She's afraid of being seen. And more than anything, she's afraid of what her feelings mean about who she is. With Harry facing life-threatening tasks, the school divided over who believes in him, and her own heart threatening to tear itself in half, Y/n must navigate a year that feels more like a battlefield than a school term. It's a year of dragons, secrets, and discovering that the hardest battles are often the ones waged within. DISCLAIMER! This book follows the plot to J.K. Rowling's book Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. I do not own any of the characters. All rights belong to J.K Rowling.
