Faythe was used to being the shy one, the quiet girl. She only bothered to go to parties when her best friends dragged her there. She preferred to stay home, read a book, and get lost in it. Spending most of her time with her brother, the girls, or some of Ben's friends. At least, that's what she always did. until she takes notice of her brother's best friend, Lucas. He's everything she's not. He's obnoxious, sinfully hot, and a bit of a player when it comes to the girls. I guess that all comes with being the quarterback for her schools' football team. There more she was around, Luke, the more she started to take notice of the little things when it came to him. Something about him fascinated her. She always figured he was just a womanizing player who never gave a crap about anyone. There was just something about him that drew her in. Maybe... it was his beautiful green eyes, or maybe it was something she could see in him that she could see in herself. But in the end, it doesn't matter... she couldn't let herself fall for her brother's best friend. Or could she? -- A/N -- It starts off a little slow, but I swear it gets better. Also, there is some swearing and mature content. I would advise younger readers to take note of this. You have been warned! Enjoy! -- Reached #67 in Teen Fiction!
