Everybody has their secrets. For some, it's serious. For others, not so much. But what happens when an entire town has to keep a secret or two?

Arin didn't have secrets. She was an open book until she moved to Lakewood, where nobody could keep their mouths shut. Everybody believed that her and her family brought rain to their town. They made easy targets, being so well known in the town.

She never believed that friends would deceive you, and family would turn on you. She never thought anyone could be as cruel as the men and women in Lakewood.
