Star-Letting: The process of stars being removed from the patients blood in their body for medical and therapeutic purposes.

Name wants to be a hero despite never knowing one that was truly ever happy. Even worse though? They have a quirk that is both undeniable chaos and pure agony.

In the process of their quirk developing, it went wrong. Their body rejected it. Now, Name has to live with the consequences of their own body turning against them-controlling this vicious disease of a dying galaxy inside of them through medication, therapy, and star-letting.

They thought they knew everything that life could offer. It was grief, storm over storm, and passions slowly being drowned out, over and over, for years. But ever since they moved to Japan from America, with their mother divorcing a husband and marrying a new one like it was second-nature, their know-it-all habits and abilities have disappeared.

Name realized that they don't know everything.
They don't know anything. Not about heroics. Not about family. Not about quantum physics. Not about their own disease. And especially not about love.
