In the human world mirroring Equestria, magic scarcely seeps through. But when it does, it's bad. And college newcomer Innocent Sun gets the worst of it.
The tale of the Equestrian Innocent Sun is finished. For now, at least. A brand new tale, featuring her human counterpart, is about to unfold! Nothing will be quite the same as before. Weird happenings twist the mundane, symbols of cryptic gods obsess the innocent, and normalcy slips away to reveal uncanny fortresses designed by the demons of nightmare. Can Innocent Sun survive it all? And even worse... can she survive college?
No reading of the first two SoI stories is needed! This is a fresh slate. Expect a mix of light moments and the occasional scene of pseudo-horror (it's my thing, I gotta do it!).
I do not own concepts from Hasbro's My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, such as characters like Fluttershy, or general concepts such as Equestrian magic.

Nightmares, horrors, evils beyond anything the world has seen... and a socially awkward unicorn. When Innocent Sun moves into the sleepy town of Ponyville, she is unexpectantly sent down a path filled with dangerous enemies, new friends, and a monstrous new power. As she goes from a simple amnesiac unicorn to a powerful sorceress with the power to summon demonic familiars, you'll find that her tale is one filled with heroism, and learning about what makes life worth living. Her tale is one that Equestria will never forget. ...Mostly because it's completely insane. Being transparent, this story is an MLP fanfic that started out as a pet project of mine, but I finished it a few days ago, and I felt it's finally time I share it. Sure, it starts out with typical "OC meets canon character" stuff, but it gets good, I swear! Seriously, this story gets quite insane by the end, and while I don't blame you if you don't read every single chapter... at least read the tenth chapters, because that's usually where it gets the most insane. I might even upload said tenth chapters before the others because... well, I'm going to be rewriting a lot of stuff, and I'm not gonna make you wait to get to the good parts. By the way, the story contains a lot of No More Heroes/Bayonetta influences, and some Devil May Cry ones earlier on. Also, please keep in mind that while I do try to write the characters canon to the show as accurately as I can, I try to write them with a bit more sincerity, as if they're people instead of cartoon ponies. Then again, take my attempt at a more realistic portrayal of the characters with a grain of salt. I'm still an amateur writer after all, so whether or not the characters do actually act like more realistic versions of the characters from the show is up to you to judge. Nightmares and Harmony
Pinkamenia Dawn Pie, a crazy unicorn from Equestria, learns about friendship through her adventures with five ponies she meets in Ponyville. Episode 1: Mare in the Moon When the extreme party pony accidentally comes across the legend of Nightmare Moon, she is tasked with overseeing the preparations for the Summer Sun Celebration--and the making of new friends. Taking offense to their ways of friendship, Dawn strives to speed up the overseeing to get in a nap before the return of Nightmare Moon. Episode 2: Elements of Harmony Dawn is on a mission to save Equestria from eternal night, but as she heads to the library to find more information, she is joined by the five mares she came across the previous day. Stuck with traveling with the completely different mares, Dawn realizes that everypony has their own strengths, and that those are what count in a pony. Whatever the case, Sun's back, and with the help of her friends, old and new, she's ready to use her witchcraft to fight back against (and probably crush beneath her hoof) whatever dares to threaten her peaceful life! However, Sun isn't the only one who's important - any character can be! Through the eyes of biased narrators, both original and from MLP:FiM, read harrowing journeys across Equestria's forgotten lands and familiar sights, or maybe just a wacky adventure full of nonsense. ...Still reading? Okay, good. So, this is obviously a sequel to my last story, Songs of Innocence, but if you haven't read that, that's okay! The explosive first chapter of this story will seamlessly make you understand who Sun is, which is what's most important! You can even think of the previous story as just the pilot, while this is the main series, so to speak. This story will be a much more... casual read. Unlike SoI 1, this one is not based on a previous draft, so I'll just be making it up as I go along this time. Oh, and by the way, I think I gotta say this, so... Azura and the other guardians of Fairytopia have decided to select 14 new apprentices to learn the Flight of Spring, one of the most important events that secures the future of Fairytopia. And the guardians want Elina and the Equestria Girls to be eight of them! They fly to the Crystal Palace, where they learn how the flight goes: they open the First Blush of Spring, which will reveal the first rainbow for the fairy world. Fail, and Fairytopia is doomed for ten years of bitter winter. Slowly, all fourteen apprentices get to know each other, with Sunburst, Elina, Rainbow Dash, and Applejack becoming the most competitive towards each other. But it's not like things can go perfect for long. In fact, Elina, Linden, Rainbow Dash, and Fluttershy accidentally get Laverna out of her frog form, and things get even weirder when Sunburst suddenly starts acting nice. Three of the apprentices keep confronting them on the mistake. Oh, and the guardians fall into comas. The Enchantress knows that the fourteen have to complete the flight together.
