What if a Night Lord Warband learned compassion, family values, and just wants to be left alone? These are the Lords of Redemption, my homebrew warband. Follow a Night Lord as he learns the value of innocence and fatherhood after becoming a father. Read as he turns a group of killers into fathers and husbands (still committing war crimes for fun, but as a family). Watch them slowly find a home on a backwater system, fight Chaos, the Imperium and Xenos. *WARNING: this is very graphic, it may contain sexual violence, graphic violence, child harm, and dark humor. If you are offended easily do not read. •.• I snuggled into the comfortable warmth of the fluffy pillow as I was eager to go back to sleep. The fan lullabied me into a hazy state. Suddenly, a heavy weight landed on my waist, pulling me from the tired daze. I leaned up in shock as my hands flung forward defensively to push whoever was on me off. With a strong force, my shoulders were shoved backwards and into the mattress. Grunts of struggle filled the room as we fought each other. The offender grabbed my wrists and held them firmly above my head with one strong hand. Sobs of terror escaped from my chest as a thumb caressed my cheek to wipe away the spilled tears. "P-please let go of me," I begged, trembling. "You are so beautiful." A man's voice spoke, his large hand leaving my face and traveling down my body to squeeze my pelvic region. "Stop." I screeched, my demand ricocheting between the four bedroom walls. The man growled darkly. "If you scream again, I will kill you." I nodded keenly in response to show that I would not challenge his threat. His hand slowly freed my mouth, testing if I would disobey him. He reached into his pocket. A knife, zip tie, and a rag were all revealed. The view made me realize that this could be my last chance to get help. If I did not call out right now, he would take me. I would not make it out alive either way. I let out a bloodcurdling scream loud enough to wake up the whole neighborhood.Complete

When tensions flare into an-all out rebellion, Sapphira's hometown is turned into a city-wide warzone. The Magistrate are ruthless in restoring order within the blood-soaked walls, catching civilians in the crossfire. Hope is scarce. What more is there to do but flee with what survivors remain? This is a spinoff backstory for a D&D campaign based in the world from "Paladins: Champions of the Realm." Plenty of intellectual rights shenanigans here that I'm not smart enough to address, but it's all in fun. When writing I kept the theme from D&D world of "letting the characters choose wrong/useless paths to explore" as an unnecessary rule imposed on myself, which took more effort than I expected due to sidetracks, but I still enjoy the story that resulted. My Warhammer 40k novel without invincible space marines and allmighty psykers. There is a space marine, pretty pequliar though, and there is a psyker (and bunch of other differernt characters), but it is hard to survive and win in my grim future. Warhammer 40k: a long journey
Questions often do not produce answers, the curiosity behind it is what motivates the progress to search for them. That's why he's so curious about everything. Why? Why is he here? why did they bring him to life? why is he so different from the other? Sometimes, he wondered about it, he wanted to ask his father, the Emperor...but maybe, maybe he doesn't need to. A story of a "man" who has no other choice but to fight and suffer alongside his people throughout history. Will the endless cruelty of the universe subdued him? Will the boundless madness of the dark gods and creatures of the warps break him down? He doesn't know, in fact, he doesn't know a single answer...but right now, it doesn't matter to him anymore. The galaxy is still burning, Tasks are at hand and will he be able to finish his father's wish? He'll find out on a long journey.
