Vakyrie has never had a sense of home or belonging. Sure, she had a house and had her mom and dad, but that was it. There were no friends, no one she could call family. No one tends to like the hotheaded and strong willed woman. The people she found herself surrounded by especially tended to not like her when she wouldn't just lay down and tolerate disrespect. 

After surviving a traumatic childhood and a crazy ex-husband, all she wanted was to find the people she could call her friends. People she could even call her family. Her sense of welcome and being at home. There was no wealth, glory, or fame in her sights. Just a family.

When he shows up, she couldn't stand him. He's just as strong willed and hotheaded as her. Boy does he piss her off. And she pisses him off. From first meeting, they can't get along.

But sometime, you can find tenderness in the most unexpected of places.

You all know Ratchet, the grumpy Autobot medic. You know he isn't exactly "on board" with humans around the base. Okay, Raf, Jack, and Miko could be an exception, and perhaps June Darby and Agent Fowler, if he was in one of his better moods, but if there was another human? No. No way. He helps her to become more human. She falls for him. Neither of them know what love is, but they learn together. That is until Sunstreaker does the unfathomable. Sideswipe knows somethings not right. Sunny would never do something like that. Sunny's gone, Nichole's devastated. Will Sideswipe get the two back together? Will he fall for her too?
