To Fight With A Cause And A Fear

So I'm trying to write a new story that actually has meaning... My friends mom died from cancer awhile ago so I'm using that as a plot for my story, but my likeliness of getting cancer is what this story is going to be based on.

Violet's mother was dying from breast and cervical cancer. She always knew this day was going to come, but she didn't realize it would happen right before her 17 birthday... Not only that she now is closer than ever of coming down with the cancer herself. Will she eventually take the risk it takes to prevent it? She only has 13 years before it comes, but that's when it's no longer curable. It may be a long time, but some sacrifices can't be made so young. What about her FUTURE.
