Teen romance is overrated. Kit Dawson is probably the only sane person at Finnigan High who thinks so. She doesn't believe in soulmates or destiny, or in finding her true love at the age of eighteen. She's a realist- and she's proud. But that's when everything spins out of control. Into her life spirals the dreamiest of dreamers- a boy who's obsessed with finding love for himself, as well as for everybody around him. She's the only one who can keep him from soaring to close to the sun, and he's the only one who can pull her off the ground. And when two people, with morals and beliefs so strikingly different, end up spending more time than required with each other, something's bound to happen. Let's just hope it's something good. * CURRENTLY BEING EDITED BUT IS COMPLETED* [Watty's 2016] Achieved: #909 in Teen Fiction May was a hard working University student. Josh was a lost boy who just happened to show up at the wrong time. Over coffee and a mountain, they rekindle their High School not-so-romance, and start anew. When faced with challenges their love stands tall, but what can push it so hard that it breaks, and burns, and ends? -"I swear I'm not drunk, but when I'm with you, I feel like I am." She said quietly while staring intensely at my face, analysing my features, as if trying to remember them forever. I swore right then and there I was going to tell her I love her. --- This story does not reflect my personal views nor does it resemble any real life incidents or other stories/events.
