Haunted by pre-written memories, pursued by enforcers who fear what she might become, and guided by a page that seems to remember the future, Vel must navigate the Tail-side of the world-a mirrored realm where time behaves like grammar, and forgotten laws write themselves back into existence.

As foldlight fractures, reality folds in on itself, and agents of precedent and paradox descend, Vel must make a choice: obey the format she was born into... or rewrite the world by becoming its first living clause.
