Finding a decent apartment wasn't easy, especially when you looked sixteen, maybe seventeen on a good day. Five might have had the mind of an old man, but landlords weren't exactly lining up to hand him a lease.
Lila, on the other hand, wasn't thrilled about living alone, especially now that she was single and pregnant. Not just because she wasn't used to it, but because, in her current condition, she wanted it even less. And let's be honest, who in their right mind would willingly sign up for a crying baby in a few months?
So, moving in together was the logical solution. Strictly temporary, of course. With no powers and a rebooted world to navigate, they had to start somewhere.
How hard could it be?

It's quite annoying really. Whenever she walked into the room and everyone's heads snapped around to look at her. Perks of being her daughter. Though, she could always just looked in their direction and they'd cower away in fear of what she, or her mother, would do to them. Perks of being her daughter. But, she had always hated that part. It's not that she didn't like being feared, she loved it. It was more the fact that people feared her because of her mother. Who her mother was and what she would, and could, do to them. Rewritten in Time
Another time jump didn't go as planned. Five accidentally ends up in 1963 and has to find his siblings once again. On top of that, they all face the threat of the Commission wanting to get rid of them. His first steps lead him to a psychiatric asylum, where he meets one of the patients - Lila, who claims to be from another time as well and says they can help each other out...
