"Now I've grown up in a life described as anything but normal. But Werewolves? That's... that's just impossible."
Riley Reese grew up in a moving family of four. Her Father, and her two younger siblings. They didn't stay in the same place for more than a couple weeks, although she was never told the reason for this constant travelling. She accepted it at a young age; her main priorities were protecting her little siblings, and watching out for her Father. Packing and unpacking bags, shopping for food and then cooking it, Patching Father up when he came home bloody and barley alive - you name it and it was guaranteed to be her job.
However, where her Father went that made him come home in such bad shape, was one of those Do-Not-Ask questions. One of the questions that are only answered by a cold stare, and a "You don't want to know, Princess. Grab me a beer?".
But in a little cold town in a northern part of Maine, questions rise to an all time high as her Father doesn't come home one night. As Riley starts the race to find her Father, the tide turns, and blood shed is brought home.
Strange kids at school, Impossible to explain events, Father's disappearance and the worst feeling of heebie jeebies in the history of ever, puts Riley in the worst problem she's ever had to face before.
But even worse? She isn't sure if she wants to run for the hills, like she's always been told, or to stay and investigate the Mysterious boy, Damien Richards, from school.
Fighting, Secrets, Questions, Answers, Love, Pain, Fear and Promise all tied up in one little bundle that's sure to take Riley for the ride of her life.
The outcasts of their pack, Dylan and Casey meet the mysterious Grey who breaks the rules of mating practices by being their third soulmate and change their lives for the better, but when there's a chance they'll lose Grey, Casey must accept his destiny as the Alpha of his pack before everything goes up in flames. Literally.
*****
Grey Weathers thought he was going on a relaxing vacation with his "friend with benefits" pal, until he walks right into two people that seem like the perfect couple, Dylan and Casey. What he doesn't know is that this couple are actually mates. Dylan and Casey are a couple of werewolves and their instincts are telling them that Grey is more special than he knows.
Grey finds himself in the middle of family drama, bloody secrets and a plot that would like to see every supernatural creature wiped from the face of the earth. All this is a lot to deal with, especially when he's falling in love with not just one, but two people. Could they be falling in love with him too? Is that possible? To fall in love with someone like him?
