The night of prom is supposed to be the night of a girl's dreams; starting with pretty dresses and closing by being swept away in the arms of an attractive stranger. For Sienna Goldman, this stereotype dream of a night became reality, well, kind of.

After a fun and rather mundane prom night, Sienna finds herself in an ally surrounded by strange men discussing her future and something called the Auruli. Soon Sienna learns of a world of super humans called the Auruli, and her life goes from memorizing American presidential terms and second derivatives to learning how to properly throw knives and lift three times her body weight.
While training to reach these super human capabilities, Sienna must deal with the struggle of a hot and cold romance with the dashing boy who started her into this mess. Not to mention this particular boy has more secrets than Sienna has bruises from his workouts.

What not even the Auruli saw coming was that Sienna is even deeper entwined in the secrets and feuds of their world than even they could have guessed.

The Starlight Sentinels: The Amusing Story of a Struggling Superhero Team by JGrayDingler
8 parts Complete
A man, a woman, a boy, a girl, a demon, and an alien, all walk into a bar... THEY FIGHT CRIME! The Starlight Sentinels goes beyond The Watchmen's question of "Who would want to be a superhero?" by asking "Who would want to be a superhero if being a superhero was just another job people needed doing?" The Starlight Sentinels, that's who! They're not your traditional superhero team, and they're not the other guys either, nor are they the grizzled antihero type. Instead, they're just people who happen to work as superheroes in a world where being a superhero isn't so much a call to greatness as it is an eccentric career choice and super villains are just another problem that people try not to think about. Drawing inspiration from films such as Shawn of the Dead and TV series such as the Venture Bros, the Starlight Sentinels was crafted to be an amusing and occasionally action-packed adventure grounded by a diverse cast of humorous but relatable characters. You may laugh at their numerous missteps, but you'll also be cheering for these heroes and heroines hard-earned triumphs as well. Join this comedic costumed cabal in their debut adventure as they fight crime and battle the forces of evil anytime they're not stuck filling out forms for the police, trying to appease their overbearing corporate sponsor, struggling to gain recognition from an apathetic public, or arguing over whose turn it is to do the shopping in this hilarious tongue-in-cheek tale that takes on all things superhero! If you enjoy the first half of The Starlight Sentinels, you can pick up the full book on every major eBook seller, or order a printed copy from Amazon or Createspace.

Yet again Darkness is hungry for a war to end it all, but Light will always have troops at the ready. One girl. One kingdom. Eleven friends. Four Elements. No biggie. * I'm Melody, hybrid freak, nice to meet you, strange muggle who I know nothing about. I used to be like you, cluelessly ignorant and uninvolved with the outside world. You know, they have a big, yellow ball of gas in the sky. Weird. Anyway my life became something out of a bad Si-Fi movie, and no, Nicolas Cage isn't in it (sadly). There are two forces in the world, Light and Darkness, and when you side with Light, Darkness gets a stick up its ass and wants you to suffer. My friends and I, we roll with Light, you must know where that leads.... I have a kingdom to learn, powers to master, loud friends to keep in line, a boy that I'm messed up over, and above it all, Darkness to show whose boss. Not as easy as you might think, but this is MY story, and I know how it ends. Being a loyal follower of Light shows me the beauty in life and the devastation it can cause. Don't get me wrong, I love Light, but Darkness makes it hard to stay and fight. * Melody is weird. She's childish. She's awkward. And she's got boy issues she needs to work out. Mel will face evil like no other, but can she do it? Will the scales of Light and Darkness finally be tipped? How can one girl make a difference? This is Melody, a corky teenager, and she wants you to read her story. Like now. Enjoy! Highest rank- #69 in Fantasy (Still cant believe it!!)
