Yes, I know I'm making Giyu incredibly powerful in this story-but no hate to any other characters! Every Hashira, every demon slayer has their own greatness. But as Giyu's die-hard fan (and his fictional best friend in this world), I wanted to explore what would happen if he reached his true potential.
If you're a fan of action, emotions, heartbreak, and slow-burn healing... this one's for you.

Giyu Tomioka the water pillar, is told to go up the mountain to search for a demon. Giyu arrives a bit later and finds a red headed boy named Tanjiro. The boy tells him about his family being attacked. Giyu then trains the boy to become a demon slayer. Tanjiro and Giyu become much closer and they now trust one another. One day Giyu is sent to the mountains to kill a demon who is strong but not enough to be an upper rank. Giyu goes and doesn't return for days. Tanjiro is then called to the master's mansion for a meeting and is told that since he is the closest to Giyu he must go and try to find Giyu. Tanjiro then goes as he is told. As he climbs the mountains to find Giyu, the air becomes thicker and he is struggling to breathe. After struggling he finally finds Giyu, who is unconscious on the ground. He looks strange. Y/N, a lower level demon slayer is caught in a battle with a lower moon. Your team struggled to keep pace, you lost the upper hand quickly. Just as all hope seemed lost the water pillar decapitated the demon. Expressionlessly, the water pillar looks to you. "Can you move?" You blankly stare back at the blue eyed pillar as he sheaths his sword. His presence is so intimidating, but strangely calm. You scan the surrounding area and search for any signs of movement from your fellow demon slayers, luckily a few survived the fight. "The kakushi will be arriving shortly, try not to move or your injuries might just kill you." His voice is smooth, but cold; you can't sense any emotion in his tone. Your body feels like lead and you can't move off the ground. Your vision grows blurry and you try to force your eyes to stay open. Just as soon as he arrived, he disappears into thin air.
