I won't give any spoilers here, but just know-this is a story where emotions run deep, battles are intense, and one Hashira shines brighter than ever.
Yes, I know I'm making Giyu incredibly powerful in this story-but no hate to any other characters! Every Hashira, every demon slayer has their own greatness. But as Giyu's die-hard fan (and his fictional best friend in this world), I wanted to explore what would happen if he reached his true potential.
If you're a fan of action, emotions, heartbreak, and slow-burn healing... this one's for you.
Stay with me through this journey-you might cry, you might cheer, but I promise it'll be worth it.

Peace and tranquility. Most all humans wish for a life filled to the brim with it. Giyuu was no exception to that. He, much like any other people, had only ever wanted to live a comfortable life. One without hardship, and one without illness. Most people never thought to wish on the second. Giyuu, however, has suffered dearly due to both physical illness, and mental. He often times found himself wandering around at night, not heading anywhere specific. His mind is awfully foggy at these times, and so he will often feel disoriented in a way; he wasn't thinking about where he was, and nor did he care.. The cover art isn't mine! Disclaimer: none of these characters belong to me, they belong to the creator of kny itself. TW: This story contains strong language, self harm, mentions of self harm, death, gore, mentions of suicide, and suicide itself. Why does everyone keep adding my book to sanegiyuu and/or sabigiyuu reading lists..? 😭 Disclaimer, this is an old book. Bitter Sweet (Giyuu x Reader)
Y/N, a lower level demon slayer is caught in a battle with a lower moon. Your team struggled to keep pace, you lost the upper hand quickly. Just as all hope seemed lost the water pillar decapitated the demon. Expressionlessly, the water pillar looks to you. "Can you move?" You blankly stare back at the blue eyed pillar as he sheaths his sword. His presence is so intimidating, but strangely calm. You scan the surrounding area and search for any signs of movement from your fellow demon slayers, luckily a few survived the fight. "The kakushi will be arriving shortly, try not to move or your injuries might just kill you." His voice is smooth, but cold; you can't sense any emotion in his tone. Your body feels like lead and you can't move off the ground. Your vision grows blurry and you try to force your eyes to stay open. Just as soon as he arrived, he disappears into thin air. You hear footsteps fastly approaching from the distance. The ringing in your ears grows louder and the world starts turning black. With the last of your strength fading, you lose conciousness. Can you become a high ranking demon slayer, or will this defeat prevent you from moving up? The Flame pillar, Rengoku Kyojuro, was the sweetest man you'd ever meet. Tomioka Giyuu's mysterious persona-albeit cold and antisocial-caught Atsumi's attention. Being the social butterfly she is, she begins feeling the need to build a friendship with the Mist pillar, Tokito Muichiro. But if Atsumi's able to push bast his tall, emotionless wall, how far will their "friendship" go? Captured And Kept (SANEGIYUU STORY)
Giyuu, though he was a demon, just wanted a peaceful life... yet that didn't happen, instead he got admitted to the upper ranks and forced to obey Muzan.. Muzan starts to send things to attack Giyuu, useless things that he wants to get rid of (he's using Giyuu...) Giyuu knows this, but needs to kill what's in his way to survive (indirectly helping Muzan...) Yet in one battle with a Hashira, they bring up his past, and he begins to feel the pain and emotions he hasn't felt in years... It took all the Hashira and many demon corp members, plus trying to mentally attack Giyuu, for the hashira to finally capture him... Knowing that having a demon for information and help, would be useful... Now Giyuu is even further away from his hopes of a peaceful life...... And he has to takle an every day life of not getting hurt or killed by the hashira....Complete
Silently in love - Sanegiyuu
Sanemi and Giyuu !! Giyuu had been deaf since a Demon attacked Him, and took his Big sister's life. Now he is the Water Hashira, nobody know's of his Deafness, but after his secret gets out, the Wind Hashira Sanemi Shinazugawa wishes to make amends with him, But Giyuu is tired of everything. As everything gets better, the final battle has come. Will they get a happy ending? !! No art or characters are mine !! (Contains lots of cringey angst, timeline is just from anytime Giyuu is a hashira, I guess. Characters wont be the 100% personality that they have in the show, plz don't come for me!! The Smile You Hold
Everyone unknowingly helps Giyuu heal. Along the way, he grows closer to his comrades. From workers to friends. They slowly nurture a friendship so strong a slice of a katana wouldn't damage the thick bond of them all. Cluelessly. They drive Tomioka from his shadow to his shine. Bringing out his smile and finding himself along the way. It isn't a smooth sailing journey, but a journey without a stumble isn't an adventure. No story comes from a sea with no waves. (Implied Sanegiyu) Also, for those who are a bit out of line, there may be a few intimate scenes where two characters may be acting lovey dovey. They are not in love. It's just platonic love. Please don't make it weird or inappropriate. They're only really close friends, and the way I word things may depict something else rather than just friendship. Once again, everything is platonic unless said otherwise in the bracketed words above. (By the way, English is not my first language. So I do apologise in advance if sentences or the way I structure my words don't sound right. I hope that does not ruin your reading experience, and you can understand what im trying to imply.
