Touya was trying his best to appear relaxed, as if he hadn't spent the past two hours searching endlessly for any traces of you or your school records.
"Homeschooled," you answered. You immediately went back to sifting through your clothes, mumbling incoherently to yourself.
"Homeschool," he let out a small whistle. "Get out much?" he asked, "probably not based on that outfit," he added unprovoked.
"Nope," you replied, engrossed in your clothing options for the evening.
"Woah, so you're like," Touya thought for a minute. "A lab rat," He stared at you with wide eyes, excited by his revelation. "Since you go so long without socializing," he attempted to elaborate on his thoughts.

In this alternate universe of MHA, Touya Todoroki was "blessed" with a father gracious enough to work with his quirk. Touya attends U.A. Academy, where he participates in the work-study program. He just happens to complete his mandated hours at his father's agency, where you, an intern his age, happen to reside. With Touya's time off from school and the amount of hours you spent working at the agency with him, somebody was bound to fall in love. And maybe those movies were wrong, your love was nothing like theirs.

Touya Todoroki was one of the few guys that didn't shun her because she was from a far away country. He didn't mind her last name which was difficult to pronounce and he certainly didn't care if she was Irish or half Japanese. Infact, he saw her as the most enchanting thing on the face of the earth. Delaney Kavanagh had loved him for his stubbornness. The way he strived to become a hero. He definitely was her hero. He was like the sun. A bright light filled so much life and hope. She knew she loved him dearly even though most people would call it a childish crush. Her only regret was not telling him before it was too late. After the forest fire on Sekoto peak, nothing was the same anymore. Guilt, regret and despair became her close friends. Her actual friends tried to be there for her but none could compare to the boy that stole her heart. When she finds this boy after a few years, he's different but she still sees the dark swirls of his childhood trauma swirling in his beautiful turquoise eyes. And all she wants is to Cure him.
