The story takes place in England, 2008.

Bella is a 16-year-old girl moving to Birmingham with her dad and his girlfriend. She's starting over at a new school - Westfield community college - where she's forced to navigate new friendships, nightlife, identity, and first love.

Connor Murphy, also 16, is a cocky lad with a serious drinking problem. Violence has become his way of coping. But under the flirty, confident shell is a boy spiraling - and something has to change.

Lizzie has always been the golden girl. Pretty. Popular. Perfect. But beneath the surface, she's battling jealousy, confusion, and a growing struggle with her identity and sexuality - especially under the shadow of her seemingly flawless brother.

This is a three-POV coming-of-age story about three British teens. A raw and emotional journey through friendship, love, jealousy, nightlife, mental health, violence, and addiction.
