To Rewrite a Villain

After transmigrating into a yandere novel as the vicious supporting character, I kidnap the villain. We ate, we slept, and lived together.

He was supposed to be cold, ruthless - a future monster who would burn cities just to feel something. But now he just sulks because I won't let him season the soup with crushed sleeping pills.

"I'm not trying to kill you," I remind him for the fifth time this week.

He pouts. "Then why do you keep me locked up like a pet?"

"Because in the novel, you're about to commit mass murder."

"Maybe I still will," he says, chewing the food I made for him. "After dessert."

He doesn't look particularly murderous when he sneaks into my blanket at night, mumbling in his sleep about staying. Or when he stares at me too long while I'm brushing his hair.

I think I broke the plot.
Or worse - I think he's falling in love.

And I might be too.

Now what?
