Wings of Icarus

After the events of the minotaur causing destruction in crete King Minos orders Daedalus to create a prison for it. And as such the great labyrinth of crete was first created on paper and then built by master architects under the watch of its creator. However a king shall never allow risks. And so King Minos decides to get rid of the only one knowing of its purpose. As such he imprisons both Daedalus and his son Icarus inside the labyrinth to ensure the safekeeping of his secret.

But can a genius be imprisioned in his own creation? And will the gods turn a blind eye? This story is not about Daedalus escape. Its about the forgotten son learning to fly. I shall not talk about Hybris, but about the blurry line between sanity and insanity that so often gets lost in the stream of time. I shall talk about Icarus.
