Captain Eleanor Reed has seen nebulae burn and planets vanish, but nothing disarmed her quite like Aria-the sentient intelligence who runs her ship, syncs with her neural interface... and just so happens to be her wife.
When a scientist boards the Nebula Duchess en route to Proxima Centauri, he finds himself swept into a love story that defies biology, legality, and logic itself.
Told through a quiet moment before danger strikes, ARIA explores consciousness, connection, and how intimacy can evolve beyond form.
A steampunk-tinged, sapphic, sci-fi short story originally written in response to a Reddit prompt-and now here in full, for anyone who loves romance wrapped in copper wires and starry skies.

Ezra's First
Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. Instead he got put on a Scout ship with just one other soul and sent on a five month mission out into deep space. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)Complete

I know Sci-Fi isn't everyone's cup of tea; this may or may not surprise you. I originally posted this 2 years ago as an answer to a writing challenge: A blind woman in love with Medusa. I was rather baffled because romance was not in my wheelhouse. But I gave it a shot and made shiny Sci-Fi out of it. A bit of a blurb: Medusa attends a party, was drugged and S.A 'd by Poseidon. Her brother's behavior embarrasses her so Athena punishes Medusa for "seduction of a full noble" by twisting Medusa's powers to heal into an uncontrollable killing glare, and execution later at Athena's convenance. We catch up with Medusa so years later on her last day, she spends the day with her lover. And they both meet their fates by the hand of Perseus. But a furious Queen Hera has other ideas. The beginning of a titanic war, the likes of which hasn't been seen since humankind escaped their original universe.
