Eden Luxe just wanted a quiet and peaceful college life, with no dramas or distractions... Just peace. But peace isn't what he finds. Not when he accidentally crosses paths with James Reynolds; the campus basketball star with a reputation as dangerous as his games. And James? He's not Eden's only unexpected encounter, the real struggle came when Eden's estranged uncle, an ex-con, shows up unannounced, bringing forth secrets from the past his mom fought hard to conceal... it made things much more complicated. It was secret about Eden's father... and the basketball dream his mother made him abandon when he was 15. Now, Eden stands at a crossroads: Either to stay silent and let the past stay buried? Or finally rise; rise to reclaim his dream, rise to chase the life he was always meant to live, even if it means going against the rules. 🏀 Freedom is a story of pain, passion, and purpose. A coming-of-age journey that challenges what it means to break free, and that freedom isn't always about being freed. But being free. However... freedom comes at a cost. And the question is: Is the gain really worth the pain? There's only one way to find out.

Reader Comments: "I'm gonna gush about your book real quick...all the technology has a purpose and is beautifully explained so I can picture it in my mind...the whole concept of the book is completely original...*moment of silence for your beautiful arch of character development* everything your characters do is strictly them but they develop enough to show more about themselves without you straight up telling the reader about them" -Vairl9023 "Ahh!!! This is so good!! I will be anxiously awaiting the next Chapter!!" -CrystalBagot "Brilliant...ohh, this is very catchy, good work" -IndeeMaynard "I love this so far" -BrianneMorris "You've done a great job at creating a mysterious mood" -poisonedpen *** All Evita Creedy, 17, wants is to finish her degree and be accepted for a prestigious job with the city's Department of Energy.
