"Lucy it's scaring me at this point" said Natsu. I looked at him weirdly.

"What is?" I asked. He looked very constricted and pained.

"I don't know how to say it Luce" he said while looking at the floor. I smiled and twirled the straw in my drink.

"C'mon Natsu you know you could tell me anything'' I said nicely. Natsu looked up at me and stared at my face for a few seconds .

"Luce I don't want you in my team anymore " he said that with pain written across his face. I stopped playing with the straw. I felt my world collapse and my lungs stop working...

"Why?" I asked tears starting to form.

"You always get hurt on missions and I'm sorry but you aren't strong enough Luce... I just don't want to see you get hurt anymore " he trailed off. I grabbed his hand and held it tightly in my hands. I held back my tears as much as I possibly could and smiled the biggest smile that was very painful.

Why am I so weak?
Don't worry Natsu I'll get strong ...so strong that one day you'll see

(A FAIRY TAIL FANFICTION) Nothing changes the fact that Fairy Tail has the best wizards, right? Wrong. Because they betrayed me. My dear friends and mentors. Family? Friends? Comrades? What's that? They don't exist in my eyes anymore. We used to be happy. It didn't start off well, but when you found me, it was amazing. I was happier than I had ever been. But all that was destroyed when you left me and went over to them. I still had Natsu, Gray, Erza, Happy and the rest. But you both were gone. How were we supposed to fight now? Was there even a point anymore? I even sympathized with our enemies. It was the betrayal I couldn't get over. #1 in fire magic ( 07/01/20) #1 in crystal magic (12/21/19) **BOOK EXTRACT?** 'What do we do if something happens?' Gray asked, 'If the thieves enter our house?' 'You signal us immediately,' Erza said. 'You will not face them alone, no matter how weak or strong they are. Got it, Gray, Natsu?' They nodded hastily. 'Erza,' I said. 'That applies to you too, you know.' Erza turned to me. Gray and Natsu were shaking their heads vigorously as if trying to warn me. I gave them a death glare in return and looked at Erza. She sighed. 'You're right,' she said. Gray and Natsu looked at her like she suddenly sprouted wings and was singing "I'm a happy Neko-chan!" Well, it wasn't entirely impossible, since she could fly in some of her armours, but the singing was an entirely different story. 'Right,' I said. 'But what will be our signal?' We all thought about that, even Happy. Then finally, Dragneel bust out, 'Well, what's our magic for?!' We all stared at him. Then I sighed. 'As much as I hate to admit it,' I said. 'He's right.' Dragneel nodded eagerly. 'I'll blow fire,' he said. 'I'll....' Gray paused. 'Make snowfall?' I gave him a disgusted look.

"Levy," Erza asks, "Do you still happen to have that book?" Levy stills for a moment, thinking. "Actually, I might!" She moves the giant book from her lap-not without some struggle- and jumps up from her previous seat on the couch next to Juvia. The other girls waited excitedly, chattering about random happenings around town. The sudden rise in visiting relatives, for instance. It seems that the sudden increase in jobs is a direct result of this strange occasion. "Lu, Juvia, Erza come quick!" Levy shouted urgently. The useless chatter instantly ceased as all three girls rushed in the direction the petite bookworm went, the attic. "Levy?! What is it?! What's wrong?!" Erza beat the other two into the musty room and instantly a very audible gasp came from her tall frame. After a great deal of struggle Juvia and Lucy managed to push the redhead aside so they could squeeze into the room. When they finally made it neither of them could believe their eyes. The whole dusty attic was bathed in a bright, magical light. It seemed to swallow everything whole as the girls stood there in shock. Erza was the first to snap out of her shock. "Levy, what is going on? What is causing this?" "It's the book, Erza, the book of fairytales! Something's wrong! They're missing-" Levy tried to warn them but the book started producing winds near the speed of a hurricane, drowning out her words. Papers and random clutter flew around the room in a whirlwind of debris. "Levy! Girls, we have to get out of here, fast!" Erza shouted over the wind. But before they could run the light grew to blinding levels and the girls' visions went black. ~~~<•>~~~ *Trigger Warning* - Mental and physical abuse. *DISCLAIMER* I do not own Fairy Tail or the cover shown above.
