Just moments before going on stage, Ira had her in-ears adjusted, mic securely in hand, and her hair was the fluffiest it could be. She looked like a porcelain doll.

Tawan stood tall 5 feet behind, watching everything closely until she heard the other bodyguards giggling.

The laughter died when a hiss followed. "What's so funny?"

Her death glare silenced Nana and Chanya instantly, but not the third bodyguard.

"Boss, your fly is open." Typhoon said.

"What?"

"Yep, everyone's been seeing the show. I just didn't know you were the opening act." He continued, making Tawan's eyes widen.

She huffed and approached him.

"And guess what? You're the encore," she said, flashing a dry smirk. "now featuring a black eye." She threatened, jabbing his chest as she passed by, just stepping a bit aside so no one would see her zip up.

"Worth it." The man said.

When she returned to her spot, Ira was staring back and laughing, she'd seen the whole thing.

Then came the cue.

But before going up the stairs, Ira blew a kiss to her bodyguard, who gave her one last giddy smile in return.

Lingling Kwong, a 29-year-old CEO, is feeling significant pressure from her parents, who are keen for her to settle down and start a family. Similarly, 22-year-old Orm Kornnaphat is experiencing the same expectations; her parents, who are good friends with Lingling's family, also have their own aspirations for her future. While their parents envision marriage for them, Lingling views relationships as a tangled web that would only bring more stress into her life. Meanwhile, Orm, still in the early stages of adulthood, grapples with uncertainty about whether marriage is the right step for her at this point in her life.
