Cassidy Blake-former Stark Industries prodigy turned SHIELD operative-never asked to be tangled in the threads of gods, soldiers, and superhumans. No powers. No serum. Just a sharp mind, steady aim, and a past littered with the kinds of secrets that don't stay buried for long.
But when old ghosts resurface and the world begins to fracture, Cass finds herself drawn into the heart of the storm: standing shoulder-to-shoulder with heroes, torn between loyalty and truth, haunted by what she helped create and what she let go.

Flour & Fire
You're not a hero. You don't wear a suit, you don't save the world. You just deliver baked goods from your little retro Brooklyn bakery. Every Saturday morning, you wheel in boxes of black-and-whites, knishes, sourdough loaves, and pies that make Steve nostalgic and Tony insistent you keep coming back. The team adores you-except for Bucky Barnes. He's cold. He's distant. He's broody. And he makes it very clear that your sunny chatter and old-fashioned recipes annoy him. But week by week, the walls start to crack. A pastry that reminds him of home. A smile he didn't mean to notice. A kindness he doesn't feel he deserves. You're just the bakery delivery person. He's the man who thinks he's too broken for second chances. Neither of you expect to change each other's worlds. But sometimes, healing starts with something as simple as a warm loaf of bread shared in silence.Complete

You deserve love just as much as anyone else-- more than anyone else I've ever met-- so let me give that to you," he yearns, urging my body closer, "I'll do whatever you want me to do if it means that you'll let me love you."Complete
