Despite being on the side of peace since the dawn of time, Lysanthir had a feeling that the treaty would not last. He wanted to walk away with Nuada, but he decided to exile himself to the world of men instead, eventually siding with the BPRD after meeting Professor Broom.
As the years went on, his mind kept going back to the Prince. His love, his hunger, for his lover kept slowly growing. When the Prince came out of exile, he knew he had to convince Nuada somehow to stop his declaration of war.
But when Hellboy and the BPRD race to stop the Prince from unleashing the Golden Army, Lysanthir is torn between loyalty to the world of men and his impossible yearning that binds him to Prince Nuada.
