I AM STILL ACTIVELY EDITING AND CHANGING MINOR DETAILS IN ALL PUBLISHED CHAPTERS (This is just a warning in case you get confused by a change in details; sorry!) I hate the first chapters and WILL be changing some of it. The general vibe will definitely be there, just a little different writing style. It was a rough rough draft. Much love<3 Seventeen-year-old Jules has been running from her father and brothers ever since she 'betrayed' them four years ago. According to the mafia code, she must suffer for her actions, and her family is more than willing to make her pay. After, of course, she completes her task of being in an emergency arranged relationship with the man who orchestrated her downfall. In a world where everyone is out to get her, betray her, and make her pay, who will succeed? Blaine: She has ended lives. I remind myself when feel like loosening the bone-crushing grip I have on her. I rise from the bed, holding her tightly to my chest, with her face directly in front of mine. She pauses her squirming, seemingly giving up. Stupidly, I study her face, we all do. It's weird, feeling her labored breathing on my face, almost as a reminder that she has been breathing this entire time. Even when we would forget she existed for months on end, while the men and woman assigned to find her would work day in and day out to complete mission fucking impossible. It's been so damn long since I saw any version of her face in person. I hate her, but I hate myself equally as much for letting this happen. I watch her as she slowly makes eye contact with each of our brothers, then back to me. She smiles. A painful and angry smile, as if telling us we will never again see a happy smile come from her. She hates us more than we have ever hated her. We knew that though. "Hello, brothers." She says menacingly, right before kneeing me in the dick.

Storm-grey and amber-gold eyes met his, and in that instant, the world seemed to tilt. Recognition sparked like fire-unspoken, undeniable, and terrifying. The room reeked of blood and fear. Every groan, every metallic clang of cruel instruments struck in rhythm with her pounding heart. She could barely breathe as the prisoner writhed beneath the guards' relentless precision, the air thick with danger and anticipation. A shadow of authority cut through the chaos. One figure, taller, sharper, moved with impossible speed, striking the bulky man tormenting the prisoner. The moment hung suspended, the recognition between them as immediate as it was electric. Exhaustion pressed against her chest, vision swimming, yet she could not look away. Voices-angry, commanding, edged with warning-echoed around her. Somewhere in the din, she thought she heard them: a mix of threats, authority, and power she could not yet name. She realised, with a shock that sent tremors through her, that she was no ordinary girl. She was the one they had been waiting for.
