Until he realises work may be the only thing he truly needs to get back to his old life, if that is even possible. When they meet they both come to the conclusion that they will never get along. Just because they trust me doesn't mean I can trust them. After training her whole life to be the best assassin, Nikita's father dies in an explosion and she is turned into an experiment for Zola's new super soldier Joining the Avengers proves to be exciting and very different from Hydra. Slow slow burn. I don't know if I will do all of this in one book but it will start in the Avengers movie, so she won't meet Bucky til later but I promise I do update almost every day and release two to three chapters a day. She's been on the run for years and finally she's caught by shield and Steve Rogers aka Captain America decides that she'd be good for the Avengers considering she has no where else to go. Skye is an innocent minded girl after being on the run for so long so when she gets a new home she takes a liking to Steve after all he rescued her. Steve takes a liking to her as well. Seeing she's so innocent and beautiful and she smiles at him whenever he talks. And she looks at him like he's her whole world. Bucky Barnes starts to take an interest in Skye from afar. He's terrified of his feelings and to talk to this girl. She makes him feel different and he doesn't know if he likes that. He still can't forgive himself for what he's done during his Winter Solider days. He sees Steve with her and realizes he might be too late and that she might not ever get to be his. He thinks he deserves to be loved too.Complete

As unfortunate as it was for Bucky, who wanted nothing more than to be a part of his daughter's life, he was forced to watch her grow up in someone else's care from a distance. They wiped him so often, he would hardly remember her, anyway. Still, in the small moments where he could remember, he hoped that one day he would win her trust back as Bucky, not the Winter Soldier that she knew.
