A month after Sonic decided to ditch civilization to live with Shadow in Africa, someone new comes in: Sonic's old friend, 19-year old Keyla Díaz, who at first didn't seem to like Shadow but eventually learns to respect him and Sonic's choice of life.

Now, the trio will work together in order to keep the Jungle safe from predators, poachers etc etc., as Keyla waits for her husband, Luigi, to come for her and their unborn children, and learns how Sonic was able to adapt to Jungle life and become the King of the apes' mate.
