This is the story of two star-crossed lovers, and how they struggle to be together due to their past experiences. Ishmael, a sexy- but threatening- criminal with a fiery past, has fallen head over heels for Gabrielle, a young girl who's spent her life trying to please, but never seeming to do so properly. Both have had rejected lives, and when they click, it's like bees to honey... until their previous worlds come back to haunt them, and the grizzly bear finds them together. Running for their lives- but their love never failing- they live on the run, wishing for the day when they can finally be a normal family- one without neglect, fire, or pain.

He's been waiting since he was 16 to find his mate and now he's 22, about to give up on ever finding his mate. But when he smells her in a mall one day, he follows her home and decides to take what's his. Isabelle's life will never be the same again.
