All she wanted was to watch epic battles between powerful gods and legendary humans. That's it. She binged Record of Ragnarok, loving the action, the dramatic face-offs, and the insane powers. The gods-like Thor and Poseidon-were majestic, and the human fighters-like Adam and Kojiro Sasaki-were a whole vibe. She loved it all. But when it ended, she had no idea what to do with herself. So, like any true fan, she dived into fanfiction. Tragic love stories? Absolutely. Forbidden ships between gods and warriors? Definitely. Emotional chaos? She gobbled it all up. Then she found that fanfic. The one where every character-gods and humans alike-died tragically. No happy endings, just heartbreak. Naturally, she roasted it. "I could write a better story with my eyes closed." Well, be careful what you say at 3 a.m. The next thing she knew, she was pulled straight into the world of Ragnarok. A woman labeled as the "villainess" (but more of a background character from the original) with dark magic and a terrible fate waiting for her. Enter: the System. A sarcastic, clingy voice in her head that's more like an annoying sibling than a helpful guide. Her mission? Stay alive. Don't get caught up in the drama. Keep her distance from the gods and human warriors. But fate? Fate didn't get the memo. Now, the gods and the human fighters-who were supposed to fall in love with each other-are tripping over themselves to win her attention. Flirting in the middle of battles. Sending gifts during war councils. Declaring their love like she's the greatest prize. The ships? Sinking faster than a sinking ship. The plot? Wrecked beyond repair. The girl who just wanted to survive? Out of her depth. Welcome to Ragnarok, where the gods and humans are falling for her, and the "villainess" is accidentally collecting lovers like it's her full-time job.
Lif and Lifthrasir - Asgardian Tales - Book 1 by BaileyBookandSketch

Power has a price. No Half Bloods know this better than the Lifs and Lifthrasirs, possessing the power of Yggdrasil itself, able to manipulate the dimensions of Life and Death throughout all 9 Realms. The price? These Heroes outlive all Mortals, their only choice for happiness is to curse their beloved with a "Blessed Apple" derived from the famed immortal apples Iduna guards, trapping their loved ones in a land where they are never able to leave while the Heroes barely age over the millennia they spend adventuring among the 9 Realms. As if that isn't cruel enough, Odin revealed a terrible Prophecy - Ragnarok, the final battle of all Mortal, Ethereal and Incorporeal beings where the Cycle of Immortality itself will end, killing beings who have never died with a Lif and Lifthrasir playing pivotal roles in those events. The Patrons of Old established the Accords - a treaty setting terms for all future Lifs and Lifthrasirs. Forced to train as Warriors and sacrifice their freedom, they serve under the Guardians, the council of members from all 9 Realms who designate missions so that their powers are shared equally, an agreement that has kept the peace for almost a million years but, as Odin himself revealed, all things come to an end. Nothing spells disaster like the Blazing Spear of Blood, created by Ymir from the root of Yggdrasil connected to Hel, capable of devouring anything with its cursed flames. Stolen by Xerxes the Red King, it has been stored in Ubhal Òir under the Lifs for millions of years, much to the chagrin of the Jotuns who now act as if it never existed. But it isn't forgotten. Someone is desperate to steal it and Comharrachadh Beatha is the perfect opportunity as most of the Guardians are on vacation enjoying the Tournament of Heroes where the Realms best Warriors come together on peaceful terms to battle each other. Treachery runs thick behind the celebrations as evil looks for an opportunity to rule again.

"You stopped aging just before you turned 16. I'm seventeen." I argue. "And I haven't had my years messed with." "If I hadn't had my years messed with, I'd be twenty-one." She smirks. "If we go by dates, then Nico is the oldest." I comment. She stops walking for a minute. "No. No, he's little. He's little cousin." "Then so are you." I smirk. She glares at me. "Agree to disagree, Kelp head. C'mon, we've got stuff to do." ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I do not own the characters, they belong to Marvel and Rick Riordan. Record of Ragnarok Pt. 2 by Tager_148

A thousand years have passed since humanity's narrow victory in the first tournament of Ragnarok. Against all odds, humans proved themselves worthy, eking out survival in a brutal contest against the gods. But to the divine, time has softened neither their disdain nor their judgment. The gods still view humanity as an unruly and corrupt race-petty, greedy, and cruel. And so, the Council of the Gods convenes once more, this time with unanimous intent: to wipe out humanity once and for all. Just as Zeus raises his voice to seal humanity's fate, a lone voice cuts through the room-Göll, a young valkyrie and sister to the legendary Brunhilde, who once led humanity to victory. Echoing her sister's courage, Göll demands that humanity be granted a final chance to prove their worth, to show that there is something within them worth preserving. Reluctantly, the gods agree to her proposal, deciding to hold a second Tournament of Ragnarok, a brutal battle that will determine humanity's fate. In this new tournament, thirteen gods, each representing divine power, justice, and fury, will step forward. Humanity will send forth the Einherjar, warriors chosen from across time-heroes, inventors, warriors, and kings-each partnered with a valkyrie who will become their ultimate weapon, a Völundr forged to match their unique skills and spirit. To survive, humanity must secure victory in seven of these thirteen battles. As the dust of ancient grudges and forgotten legends rises, humanity's fate rests once more on the courage and strength of their chosen. Can they defy fate a second time? Or will they be crushed under the weight of divine wrath?
