Now they're in high school - he's marching quads, she's flipping on the sidelines - and every halftime show is one more chance for Lucy to push his buttons. She's smug, fearless, and dressed like a daydream. He's flustered, focused, and trying not to let her get to him.
But she always does.
Under the lights, between rehearsals and rivalry, something's changing. And Schroeder's starting to realize that maybe Lucy's not chasing him anymore... maybe she's waiting for him to catch up.
