After they left their father due to his insane possession that was unexplainable to them, The Afton Kids now live with Scott Cawlton, his wife and three sons, where they can start a new life. However, not all of them were able to move on. Elizabeth, being a daddy's girl since birth, had refused to move on until she remembered an old cartoon they all use to watch about an ink demon who she loved. When she hears that the ink demon is real and lives at the studio, she and both her brothers venture to find her nostalgic demon only to realize he is not the same demon like in the cartoons. I feel myself blush profusely as Michael puts his face close to mine. He pressed his hands on my shoulders, holding me against the lockers behind me. I glanced around, wondering what he thought he was doing. Part of me wanted to push him away out of embarrassment, but the other wanted him to stay. My shoulders relaxed as I realized that I felt safe here, in his arms. I closed my eyes, letting out an exhale as I felt him wrap his hands around my neck.
