Despite the bloodshed, the Kingdom of Hyeolguk has managed to be civil with almost all of the other Kingdoms. All except one, the Kingdom of Jeonghwaguk. Jeonghwaguk is ruled by the witches, who fought hardest against the vampires. The wars fought between the two Kingdoms were merciless. It took centuries for a peace treaty to finally be agreed to. Decades later, despite the peace treaty between the two Kingdoms, there is still tension between the two.
After waiting two hundred years to take the throne, Lee Minho has finally been given his birthright to take over. For him to become King, he must marry. He has one year to decide which princess from the other Kingdoms he wishes to marry. There are plenty of eligible suitors for him to choose from. Any of them will do. All except for Princess Hwa Ara of the Jeonghwaguk Kingdom. Minho was raised to hate all witches and to never trust them; the same also went for her. But after a fateful encounter, the two fall in love.
Will the pair continue down the paths that were created for them? Or will they decide to forge their own path together?
