Three years ago, a gateway between Earth and the Beyond opened over the city of New York. In one terrible night, New York was destroyed and rebuilt, trapping New Yorkers and extradimentional creatures alike in an impenetrable bubble. Now, New York has been rechristened Hellsalem's Lot, a paranormal melting pot where magic and madness dwell alongside the mundane, where every form of human vermin gathers to exploit otherworldly assets for earthly profit. Chain Sumeragi, an invisible werewolf from the Werewolf Bureau of Hellsalems Lot, had just come home to her apartment after another mission.
While laying on her bed, in her messy apartment building. She thought back to that one Man-Child/Pain sensitive man she saw in the city. Where being kind would get someone killed. Murder is a normal thing there. Especially when it's filled with Monsters. Even though he's new to the city. For some reason she can't get him out of her head. Even when she ended up saving him from being mugged, as he was surprised but thankful.
She doesn't know why, but she has a feeling she'll see him a lot in the city.
Hopefully he'll stay alive long enough for her to figure out what this feeling is and what it means.
'Stay Alive....Idiot.' The woman thought to herself, before her button popped off on her suit, showing a bit of cleavage, as her dark purple eyes were tired.

What I kept of the original idea plot: 1.The fact that the original mate died and that second chances are given once a decade. 2.The new mate can be only human. 3. Multiple werewolves will feel attracted to her. 4. He will kidnap her at some point in the story. Hereby I am giving credit for the idea. **this book is completed!!** This is a story about werewolves with some witches and vampires thrown in. -Preview- I opened my eyes to see a woman standing in front of me. I don't know who this woman is or what's wrong. She has beautiful silver hair that's matted with leaves and sticks. Her face though beautiful is distraught, her face is a very creamy pale color. Her lips are as red as blood. She has tears running down her face and a bruise just below her left eye. She's holding my necklace. The moonlight shines on the single engraved word "Noel". "Take this." She says, "Noel! Take this and run. Put it around your neck and never, NEVER take it off. It will keep you safe." The woman hears something and turns around to look, then looks back at me with panic and sorrow in her eyes. I hear a male voice behind her mumbling something, I can't make out what he's saying. I can't make out the man's face as he walks up behind the woman and squeezes her shoulders. He takes the necklace wincing and slips it over my head. They're talking to me but I can't hear what they're saying. I only see the panic in their face. "Noel! RUN." I hear screams and growls as I'm running as fast as I can.
