One Summer

Primrose Castillo loved the city.

The noise, the lights, the constant rush - that was her world. She was always polished, always in control, always a step ahead. But this summer, her parents ripped her out of that world.
She was sent to Cagayan valley away from the city, from the comfort, in order to manage their family-owned resort as an acting CEO, She had never cared about. A punishment masked as responsibility. A lesson she didn't ask to learn.
She hated it.
Until him.
Antonio Ferrer. A son of the caretaker. was nothing like the men from her world. His family were the one who took care of the resort. He wasn't loud or flashy. He didn't ask for attention. He didn't flinch at her name. Didn't care that she came from privilege.
At first glance, they were opposites. Isa'y galing sa taas at isa'y sanay sa lupa. But little by little, through awkward mornings and late-night silences by the sea, something began to shift.
In a place she never wanted to be, doing a job she never asked for, Primrose started to unravel. It was supposed to be just one summer.
