Khiel, an uprising novel writer, known for writing fantasy love stories, especially boy's love.
Readers clung to his tales, enchanted by the vivid worlds, the palpable yearning between characters, and the depth of emotion that ran through every page. The titles were acclaimed. The plots, genius. The themes? Unforgettable. But the endings? They shattered hearts, no matter how beautiful the beginning. Khiel's stories always ended in ruin. His characters always end in tragedy. The love always fell.
Not once had the main characters escaped fate. The tragedy was not just the theme, it was his fingerprint. No matter the cries for happiness, no matter the pleading letters from readers begging for mercy. His characters were doomed. They earned him the name "The Heartbreak King of Fantasy".
Then came the latest book, their breaking point.
A massive number of readers across the continent rose in uproar. Demanding a change, they seek a good ending, an ending where all the sacrifices and hardship that the main lead SHOULD be rewarded.
He tried to deny their protest, protect his pride, his art. But stories have teeth. His newest tale turned on him.
