Jack loved his son fiercely, a deep affection that filled his heart. The loss of custody felt like a cruel injustice that pierced his soul. "Upset" didn't capture the storm of anger and helplessness within him. The thought of his son being taken ignited a primal instinct to protect.
He struggled to understand how they could take something so profoundly his. Although he couldn't provide a lavish lifestyle, he worked tirelessly to put food on the table, each dollar a testament to his love. He hoped to someday give his son a life filled with warmth and safety. In that moment, however, it felt like he was losing everything he cherished.
