Ilya Morozov has spent his entire skating career in the shadow of one man-Alan Novak. At twenty years old, with the Winter Olympics on the horizon, Ilya returns to his hometown in Russia determined to perfect his final routine and leave behind the bitterness of second place. The frozen lake where he first learned to skate seems like the perfect place to train in solitude... until a jump gone wrong sends him crashing through the ice. When he wakes, half-frozen and humiliated, the last person he expects to see is Alan-the golden boy of figure skating and Ilya's greatest rival-standing over him, the one who pulled him from the water....will they find out how to get along or will they keep butting heads and stay enemies forever?
