On the mirror-Earth of Aurelia, where the seas shimmer with memory and the skies dance in soft auroras, burned-out city girl Seo Hae-ri is sent to the quiet island of Kailea to escape the chaos of her life in Seoul. She expects boredom. Isolation. A temporary exile. Instead, she finds Mira Sol Café-a coral-stone beachside café filled with glowing lanterns, humming sands, and a boy named Soo-ha, who paints the night skies like he's trying to capture lost dreams. He's quiet, kind, and carries secrets as gently as he carries driftwood for the café's morning fire. As summer stretches on, under the scent of banana pancakes and the lull of bioluminescent waves, the two begin to untangle the loneliness in each other's hearts. But when the season ends, Hae-ri must choose between the life she ran from... and the one she's beginning to build-with him. Years later, she returns to Kailea, heartbroken and unsure-only to discover Soo-ha never left. And now, he's running the café... with a small daughter by his side, born from a love they never got to finish. In a world where memories whisper through sand and second chances are rare as starlight, can love still bloom where the tide first brought them together?

Annalise sees the world as though she is looking at it from afar. As if it's just a meaningless painting in a museum that she is observing. Admiring the beautiful strokes and the imperfections that somehow manage to make it even more intriguing. The last thing she would ever expect is someone reaching out from the painting and pulling her inside. The colors feeling as though she can practically taste them on her tongue. Suddenly being indulged by something she once saw as so two dimensional. Something that she once thought had no soul, no form of beauty beneath the surface. Only being able to see a pretty frame and gorgeous yet seemingly meaningless brush strokes. A life hidden in plain sight.
