Rei Todoroki didn't give birth to just a son, but twins, a boy and a girl. To try and save her daughter from her father she gave her up for adoption before Endeavor ever found out. The only thing she gave her was her name, Takara, meaning treasure.
Takara grew up jumping from foster home to foster home. She could just never find a place she fit in. Always bullied and abused. She never had any friends, especially after she developed her quirk. She could control fire with her right side and ice with her left. She grew to have one hell of a temper. As she is in her last year of middle school, top of her class, she is approached by a mouse of a man and the pro hero Midnight. They offer to take her in as a ward of the school and the following year she would enter UA high school. Having no better options she agrees.
Having always thought she was just thrown away,
What happens when she meets he long lost twin brother who got to grow up with their family she never got to have?
What happens when she meets people who want to be her friend?
What happens when for the first time she meets genuine people who want to know her, for her?

"I know ok?!" - Izuku screams, he never screams. Shōto flinches and fights the instinct to cover his ears as he stays put with his back against the bedroom door. Fuyumi frowns with the headphones in her hands, ready to place them over his ears, but for once Shōto wants to know. "He's not special! He's just-" - the sentence stops, Inko warns him to stop as it often happens and somehow Shōto wishes Izuku wouldn't stop. He needs to hear it, he needs someone to say that word. "I'm your son, you birthed me, and still I'm never a priority..." - Izuku says and his voice breaks. It's quieter this time. Shōto opens the door and takes a tentative step outside, not really knowing why: maybe to confront Inko, or maybe to comfort Izuku. The entrance door slams and he's faced with only Inko. She looks at him with so much guilt she might as well just have killed a man. "I'm sorry..." - she says and Shōto doesn't understand what she's actually sorry about. ~ To sum it up: Tōya decided to run away from his abusive household with his sibling. Endeavour face a trial for child abuse that lead to his immediate hero career decline and incarceration. While Tōya manages to run away with Natsuo, Fuyumi and Shōto end up in a foster home. Komi was good at most things in her life. Except for math...and confrontation -but other than that, she was smooth sailing it.
