After the Second Summer of Love, Renton and Eureka believe their days of conflict are over. Together with the Nirvash, they live in quiet peace on a healing Earth - until strange pulses of corrupted energy begin to rise from deep within the Scub Coral. A name echoes in their dreams: Erebus, a being born of corrupted Trapar light and forgotten emotion.
Meanwhile, in the Digital World, Davis, Kari, and the other Digidestined face a new anomaly - a tear in the sky, unlike anything they've ever seen. When a mecha from another world descends from the rift, carrying two mysterious strangers, they soon realize that this is no simple disturbance... it's a collision of realities.
As the worlds begin to bleed into one another, and a twisted hybrid entity threatens to consume both in perfect stillness, Davis and Renton must rise - not only as warriors, but as leaders who carry the hearts of those they love. With Digimon evolving in ways never seen before, and ancient memories awakening in both Eureka and Kari, the two teams must stand united.
