Nyah brushed a lock of ginger hair from her brow, smearing dirt across her cheek without noticing. The soil here was rich-too rich-and fickle with Earth plants. But she was determined. Her hands, bare and callused, pressed into the bed as she gently tucked a small sapling into place.

Behind her, she felt him again.

Not with footsteps-Rha'lek never made noise when he didn't want to-but with presence. That massive, quiet energy he carried like a cloak. It used to scare her. Now it just made her heartbeat skip a little.

"You watching me again, Rha'lek?" she asked without turning around.

A soft rumble came from the shadows. "You are... efficient," he said in slow, careful English. "Focused. Like a knife."

She smiled and sat back on her knees. "That's a strange compliment."

He emerged then, tall and imposing beneath the cracked dome. The moonlight caught the faded blue markings on his gray skin. His golden eyes were on her, calm but burning-like some ancient fire that never went out.

Rha'lek crouched beside her, far too close by Yautja standards. She didn't flinch.

"I do not lie," he said.

Nyah studied his face. The ridged mandibles, the heavy brow, the scars that slashed across his jaw like an old map. And yet, none of it frightened her anymore. There was something sacred in how still he was.

"This one," she said, pointing to the sapling, "is called firegrass. It used to grow wild in my grandmother's yard. It needs heat to bloom."

Rha'lek tilted his head. "Then why plant it here? This moon... is cold."

She smiled sadly. "Maybe I want to see something beautiful survive in the wrong place."

I felt him before I saw him. The air shifted, heavy and electric, and then he was there - filling the doorway of my shop like he owned it. Like he owned me. His eyes dragged over me slowly, deliberately, until my skin burned. I told myself to look away, to breathe, to move - but my body betrayed me. Lucien stepped closer, the scent of smoke and danger clinging to him. He reached out, brushing a single petal from my shoulder, his fingers grazing my skin as if testing how easily I'd break. "You hide behind flowers," he murmured, voice low enough to curl around my spine. "But I see the truth. You're trembling for me." My lips parted, but no words came. My pulse thundered, my knees weak, and still I couldn't step back. He leaned in, his breath warm against my ear. "You don't know it yet, Dahlia," he whispered, "but you're already mine." Dahlia Hart lives a quiet life running her late father's flower shop a haven of color and calm in a world she keeps at arm's length. But one night changes everything. She witnesses a brutal crime, and in doing so, catches the attention of a man who doesn't tolerate witnesses. A man who doesn't let go. Lucien Moretti is cold, dominant, and untouchable a man who built his empire on control, fear, and precision. When he learns that the only person who saw what happened is the daughter of a man who once betrayed him, his interest turns personal. Dahlia is no longer just a threat. She's a loose end. A legacy. A possession waiting to be claimed. But Dahlia isn't as fragile as she seems. And Lucien, for all his cruelty, finds himself drawn to her innocence in ways he didn't expect. What begins as a hunt becomes something darker an obsession. One that blurs the line between protection and possession, desire and domination. This is my first book I hope you like it 🤗

This book is the sequel to 'Prisha: The Devil's Solace'. I suggest you read that book first, and then continue with 'Prisha: The Devil's Claim'." _________ She stared at him with trembling eyes, her vision blurred by unshed tears. He was hers-her Rudhransh, her devil, her monster husband. Once, he had belonged only to her. But everything had changed three years ago. Now, he loathed her, despised her with a fury that left scars deeper than any blade. And to hurt her, to shatter whatever was left of her soul, he was doing the unthinkable. He was marrying someone else. He was becoming someone else. The room swam around her as she watched him fill another woman's hairline with vermillion, his fingers steady, his expression indifferent. The mangalsutra lay against her throat like a verdict, final and merciless. Her heart twisted violently inside her chest, every beat sending cracks through her already fragile existence. She took a step back-then another-as the cruel reality crashed down on her, suffocating her completely. Gone. He was gone. The last hope she had nurtured for six years-the hope that one day, somehow, he would be hers again-had just been crushed beneath the weight of his betrayal. Her steps faltered. Her vision darkened. Before she could process the whirlwind of agony ripping through her, she felt herself falling-plummeting into nothingness. Then-darkness. Cold. Silent. Suffocating. A shiver ran down her spine as the eerie quiet wrapped around her like chains, holding her captive. And then-his voice. Deep. Laced with something dangerous. "What will I do with you, dewdrop?" Her breath hitched. No. No. It wasn't possible. Her fingers curled against the unforgiving floor beneath her as realization struck with brutal force. "Is Rudhransh here with her? Or is she just dreaming with her eyes open?" And who is on mandap

Aiah thought she was just flying to Manila for a simple summer vacation-a short break from her quiet life in the province. She packed light, expecting sunny days, malls, and maybe a few trips to the beach. But nothing could've prepared her for the truth waiting at the other end of the plane ride. Her parents had quietly separated, and her mother, without warning, had decided to move to Manila permanently. Suddenly, what was supposed to be a getaway turned into a reluctant new beginning. As Aiah struggles to adjust to the chaos of the city and the heaviness of her family's silence, she meets Mikha-a girl who couldn't be more different from her. Mikha is wild-spirited, effortlessly cool, and unapologetically herself. She shows up to school in oversized vintage band tees layered over fishnet sleeves, loose cargo jeans with safety pins and patches, and worn-out platform sneakers. But what stands out most is her hair-dyed a vivid, unapologetic red that glows in the sunlight like a warning and a promise. It suits her: loud, fierce, impossible to ignore. Her eyes have that tired-but-alive look, like she hasn't slept in days but somehow still finds energy in music and midnight walks. She's the lead guitarist of a local indie band that plays in smoky cafés and rooftop hangouts, and she always carries her scratched-up guitar case like an extra limb. With a sideways smirk and a spark of chaos in her step, Mikha pulls Aiah into a world that's loud, messy, and strangely comforting. Their connection is instant-electric in a way Aiah can't explain. What starts as an unlikely friendship slowly blurs into something deeper, more tangled. As they navigate heartbreak, healing, and the parts of themselves they've never fully shown anyone, Aiah starts to wonder if meeting Mikha wasn't just chance-but destiny, in its most unexpected form.

"Easy there, darling, don't strain that pretty little head," a voice, smooth as silk, sliced through my panicked thoughts. I whirled around, and there he was. Instinctively, I scrambled back, each step he took forward sending terror through me. His eyes, held a knowing glint, and the smirk playing on his lips was a cruel, infuriating taunt. "What are you doing here?" The question was weak, a pathetic attempt at defiance when my mind was screaming a thousand others. "Just checking on you, baby," he purred, his voice dripping with false concern. "You did black out last night, after I had you for dessert." Had me for dessert? "What?!" I shrieked, stumbling back. He hummed, a low, predatory sound. "Don't remember? Shame. We could always recreate the experience." Each word was a calculated blow to my sanity. . . . . . . Eunha was an aspiring doctor, living a quiet, structured life with nothing but routines, one loyal friend, and her grandmother, the only family she had left. What she didn't know was that she had caught his attention too. And unlike her, he never let go. From the shadows of her life, he watched. Waiting. Carefully weaving a web around her, thread by thread, until escape would no longer be an option. . . . . A woman who had bled every last drop of life from her soul, and a man who couldn't get enough of the wreck she'd become. What could possibly get worse? Everything. Every single thing.
