The tension between financial classes overflowed, the dictator at the time created vast underground labyrinths beneath the Earth's surface. He forced all of the middle class and below under the ground, the tunnels were equipped to last centuries, to hold all of those promised a chance at life as prisoners-as workers. They placed the factories underground as well-anything they deemed unsightly. unfortunately, they had to vent the pollution to the upper world and in doing so they caused their own cancer rates to skyrocket. The government began to experiment on those who have tried to escape the underground. Will those held captive rebel, or will the government go too far and create a danger unstoppable by man?

Firstly, A trigger warning for mental health/ self inflicted wounds when reading. you're only 18 years old. your name is zoe. you always had a love for the apocalypse but didn't think it would truly happen. and you slowly learn that nobody is who they say they are. Nobody is to be trusted. Things are gonna fall apart, and nobody can save us now. This book is being rewritten again and hopefully is better than the first and second time it was published. It's kind of cringe most of the way. Wrote it when i was like 13-14 years old or something and tried rewriting when I was about 16. Didn't work. Trying to rewrite it again at 20 but i don't think the first two books are saveable. Book three so far however is going well(i believe anyway). The second book has also been rewritten and will be rewritten again. now I'm working on finishing book three. All characters are mine but ellis is not I will be changing a lot of character names again in this rewriting process in all books, ellis being the biggest.Concluida

A stone path of painted gold snakes its way around impassable stalactites tipped with silver snow and slowly makes its way across the forest on its path to the city. All she wants is to keep her friends safe and find somewhere safe they can live, away from the horrors of the world. She travels the continent, trying to find somewhere she can stay. She faces unimaginable threats and has to learn to face her fears, or die at the hands of them. She faces many things and find some things. She faces death and sadness, faces the unthinkable. And she finds real friendship and even love. Is it possible to love in the apocalypse? She'll just have to find out. She learns of what the government did and that they are looking for her, and she runs, trying to keep her and her friends alive. But there's only so much one girl can do. Will she find somewhere safe to hide from the government? Or will the government finally catch her? Will she fall to the world of the undead? Will her love survive the apocalypse?
